What are Frozen Pensions?
If you have a British state pension and live in the UK, your pension is increased every year in April. If you choose to live overseas, then you will still get your pension - it is payable world-wide - but you may not get the annual increase. It depends on which country you live in.
If you do not get the annual increases, then you are a "frozen pensioner". So choose carefully if you want to move overseas to live with your grandchildren. Don't choose a "frozen" country.
Frozen pensioners are not millionaires. Frozen pensioners might, in their wildest dreams, want to be millionaires. But meantime they are deprived of the right to be like their compatriots and fellow-pensioners.
